Privacy Policy for Lilt

Summary (in plain language)

Lilt does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data with the developer or any third party. Your tasks and habits are stored on your device and synced through your own private iCloud account. The developer has no access to your data.

What data Lilt stores

Lilt stores the following on your device, and in your private iCloud database if you have iCloud Drive enabled:

Tasks (title, notes, status, priority, due date, project)
Habits (name, target per day, color, icon, completion timestamps)
Projects (name, color)
App preferences (e.g., "Show in Dock" toggle on macOS)

This data is stored in your iCloud private database — visible only to you, accessible only by Lilt running under your Apple ID. The developer has no access to it and cannot recover or read it.

If you sign out of iCloud or disable iCloud Drive, Lilt continues to work locally on each device but data will no longer sync across devices.

What data Lilt does NOT collect

No analytics, telemetry, or usage tracking
No advertising identifiers
No crash reporting beyond what Apple provides via App Store Connect (Apple's optional, opt-in App Analytics — controlled by you in iOS/macOS Settings)
No location data
No contacts or calendar access
No microphone or camera access
No third-party SDKs

Third-party services

Lilt uses these Apple services:

CloudKit — Apple's iCloud service, for syncing your data across your own devices. Subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
App Intents / Siri Shortcuts — Apple's voice and shortcut framework. Your spoken commands are processed by Apple per Apple's Siri Privacy.

That's all. There are no other third-party services, SDKs, ad networks, or analytics providers integrated.

Children's privacy

Lilt does not knowingly collect any data, from anyone — including children under 13. The app is rated 4+ as a general productivity tool.

Data export and deletion

Because all data lives in your own iCloud database, you control it directly:

To export: open your iCloud Drive on macOS at ~/Library/Mobile Documents/. Lilt's data is in the private container iCloud.saibuddha.Flow. Direct user access to private databases is limited by Apple, but you can recreate or copy individual records from within the app.
To delete all your data: delete the app from all devices and remove its container in Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → Manage Account Storage → Lilt → Delete Data from iCloud.

The developer cannot delete data on your behalf because the developer cannot see it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes materially, the updated policy will be posted at the same URL with a new "Last updated" date. The app's functionality will not change retroactively.
